Sometimes it's hard to believe something. Even when part of you knows for a fact that it occurred, there's always that stubborn part of you insisting that you live in a bubble, it couldn't have happened to you, wake up and smell the bacon.

But you wake up and smell the bacon, and you smell part of your mind frying.

Because it happened.

I should know.

It was a dark night, as all ominous nights are, and Bashou and I were scouting a building. The night was fairly quiet, and I was uneasy because he'd suggested we split up.

If we hadn't, perhaps he would still be alive.

Perhaps it would have sent both of us to the grave.

yeah, I think it's the contrast difference in the second.

I think so too at first I couldn't see the differnce really but then I realized that this one is a bit darker in some parts and the first one is light, to me I like the dark shade to it looks nice.
