Overall, this CD reflects the band as an ARTIST - they don't just stick with the same style; they're not afraid to experiment with different sounds and techniques. Admittedly, an artist's specialty is one particular style or approach that is recognizably theirs (i.e. M. Shadows's voice and the drums of A7X set them apart b/c those particular sounds are unheard in any other band). As always, Chester's and Mike's voices stood out in the noninstrumental compositions. What I Learned
Let me tell you something. Have you ever had one of those days.... those damn terrible days, when you've been riding high for weeks, managing not to screw up too badly, and then...

WHAM!

You just totally lose it over something almost insignificant, and everything that you've avoided doing for those great weeks just explodes out of you? (and it's always the parking at RCC that gets me, let me tell you.... Indeed I say to you, parking at RCC around 9am during the first few weeks of fall or spring term can make a MONK swear!!)
